Our time with Lindsey and Geoff started late Friday afternoon at St. Barnabas on the Desert, in Scottsdale near Paradise Valley for their wedding ceremony rehearsal. From there we headed to The Mission in old town Scottsdale for drinks and their delicious rehearsal dinner (thanks again for the spectacular food!). We had an absolute blast with this couple both days that we spent with them. The following morning we met them at Hotel Valley Ho where they were preparing for their big day. The suites at this Hotel are ridiculous. Lindsey’s room had a hot tub in the room, next to the bed, what the??

After everybody was dressed and looking good, we drove to St. Barnabas for their ceremony. From the sound of the church name we expected an old dark cathedral, but the church was very bright and colorful, perfect for photos! The church just had a million dollar pipe organ installed earlier this year, which was the backdrop for their wedding ceremony.

Their reception consisted of family formals near the entrance to the Desert Botanical Garden, a short 3 mile hike to the reception area, an hour of cocktails, some sunset photos, and a fabulous band from Kansas City that provided the entertainment for the evening. Their dinner was held outside and the weather couldn’t have been better. Saturday night was the first cool evening of the season!
